I Can't Sleep Anyway...

I'm awake, I might as well finish that post from yesterday while I decide if I'm going take Jonie to the vet (explanation pending).

( Thursday - Why I Think Jonie Probably Needs to Go to the Vet )

It's been a fairly lousy week over all, though my spirits are still good. Today was supposed to be better, my day to recover, but it's already off to a pretty poor start, and I fear that it isn't going to get much better.

Nothing I can do now. :) I'm going to take a shower, get dressed, and take Jonie to the goddamn vet. :)

Jonie's Status

Well, I got her to the vet, and they told me pretty much what I expected they would, with a twist - she (probably) has the doggy equivalent of a flu, no surprise there really, but they decided to keep her over night (or what was left of the night, since it was about 5:30 at that point) and the normal vet (there is only a nurse at night) would look at her first thing in the morning. She should be fine, though, and they gave her some medicine.
With that, I headed over to Kroger intent on by heavy duty carpet cleaner, spent an hour+ wandering aisles in search of low calorie food options, and finally got home a few minutes ago...having completely forgotten to get carpet cleaner. Sigh. One of those days, I think, one of those days...and I still have to be in class in less than an hour and a half. Sigh. (I'm not nearly as down as I sound, just tired. ;) )
