well, numerically speaking, it is definitely cheaper to drive. When you factor in pain and suffering (a very expensive commodity, if most civil litigation is any indication)...well, it probably doesn't balance out so well. However, I had company on the ride out there, and it really did save a lot of money on the numerical angle.

Anyway, I contacted the Toyota place, so I guess I'll find out how much it costs in terms of wear and tear on my car.
