Seeing you was one of the high points of my holiday, as well. I didn't say everything was bad, but this year was pretty stressful and everything was so hurried, that's all.
No cooking stuff until I have an apartment. :)
And for what it's worth, I actually AM considering LIC. Though that was not on purpose, and was indeed because I found something there that looked really nice. I'm still not sure about Roosevelt Island - I ended up doing too much other stuff yesterday. I'll post an update on the search after today's hunting is done, if I get the time.
