Yeah, or you can write from the middle of Europe to your e-firend in New York and ask how are winters there, usually? How cold does it get, and if you could in Celsius, please, it would be great, but if not I'll manage translating Farrenheit. How much snow there is? From the pics from the fantabulous internet I gather it's rather snowy. :) Also, perhaps you have some idea if it was colder, or warmer two hundred years ago plus?
