A Miscellanious Update
Dec. 16th, 2005 12:55 pmBusy weekends are awesome, I like busy weekends. ;)
Spent Mon, Tues, and Wed working like crazy to make up for the fact that I haven't been getting much done recently. And I did in fact get a lot done, and will be doing more hopefully this afternoon after I stop cleaning this afternoon.
Yesterday, we went carolling, which is something that I've always wanted to do. Singing at the hospital was a little weird. I was worried that we made some people sad, people with no family or who couldn't leave the hospital for the holidays or who were very sick or old. I don't want to make people sad. :( Still, I also know we made some people happy, because they applauded and made requests and such, so I think it's all okay. And going and bothering friends was enjoyable too. ;) I also had a huge amount of fun baking all day (even though my hand still hurts!). I've never baked without my mom nearby, and I was kinda worried, but I think everything turned out pretty tasty (even the cookies I forgot in the oven...) and our gingerbread cathedral was totally awesome (hopefully, pictures pending. ;) )
I hope everyone is having a good holiday season so far! I love Christmas time. I have so many things I need to wrap!
And, uh, for those who don't read his LJ, but do read mine, Jason and I got engaged on Wednesday. :)
