Geeky gaming...
You know, sometimes when the GM pulls out characters we all know and tosses them into a game, it's considered lame.
Other times, it's completely totally awesome.
I'm not prepared to say what the distinction is, but last night it was really, really fun. We were dealing with a villain who could summon villains from various media (including Juggernaut, Sephiroth, the White Queen, Godzilla, and more) ...I ended up fighting Drizzt Do'Urden. "But wait," you say, "he's not a villain!" well, he isd when he's in uber-hunter mode. But I couldn't bring myself to hurt Drizzt, cause he's totally awesome and a good guy and stuff, and I spent the whole fight defending myself and trying to convince him to be good. :) It was awesome (though I wasn't ultimately the one who talked him down...) ...over all, my luck continued to be sapped by Jason, and it wasn't until late in the evening that I stopped sucking...just in time to stab Juggernaut repeatedly, which proved very helpful. Over all, much fun.

deadmanwade's costume for tomorrow. Sat down and figured out all the measurements I need for the junihitoe, and was stupidly excited that mine will be 11 layers, not 12 (unless you count the train, that'd make it 12). Over all, I think it will be fairly easy to construct. I'll probably start next Friday, cause I don't think I'll have time before then.
