Well, after years of having my webpage down (It's been down since Xoom went under in late 2000/early 2001), I decided to treat myself to finding some free webspace and uploading the damn thing. (it's huge, like 700 megs). It's an anime image page and stuff like that. It violates the terms of services at my new host rather severely and in multiple ways, but I decided, based on some research into other websites hosted by these guys, that I probably wouldn't get caught, and if I did the worst that would happen is they'd delete it; no harm, really. So yeah, I have a webpage again. It'll probably take a while to finishing uploading. And it needs to be updated in massive, massive ways, but it'll give me something to take study breaks over.

The grant's not done, but I've written 26 pages. I'll write more in the morning. :)

New URL: www.unforth.vzz.net
I can't wait till I have some time to play with it. ;)
(Oh, and it doesn't work right in firefox, I need to work on that...)

Well, that was quick - no, they didn't delete me yet, but on a whim, I tried getting into [livejournal.com profile] mistress_sin's server with a different ftp program, and now it works. So screw that other place, with it's crappy policy and zillions of evil popups, I'm heading over to hang with a friend's server, which will suck infinitely less! Woot! Thanks, [livejournal.com profile] mistress_sin, I'll bribe you or something if you want...
So, nix the old bull shit,
New server:
Unforth's infinitely less sucky anime page (now uploading, still in desperate need of an update)...

Ah well, back to writing!

Borders called, and so I sent [livejournal.com profile] deadmanwade out to pick up my copy of Doppelganger. :) So if any ya'll preordered it Borders, go pick it up, cause they have them in.

Alright, so for those who don't know, grants are scored by evaluators, each section is worth a certain number of points. This grant is out of 100.

Based on that, I am now half way done, in that I have completed 50 points worth of the grants content. The scary part is, it's already 33 pages long. Keeping in mind that the LIMIT for this grant is 30 pages, someone (probably at least partly me) is going to have to cut what I've written down to 15-20 pages. But that's not my current concern. Now I have to write 25 more points worth grant. (I'm not responsible for the last 25 points, thank god). The longest paper I have ever written before was 19 pages, 20 with the bibliography. :) I've written longer fiction (wrote an 80 page story before...and the Hogwarts story is like 45 or 50 pages and not finished yet) but never longer non-fiction.

One of the partners looked over the incomplete draft we sent out last night and said it looked good...

Deep breaths...;)
