Baked Goods
Sep. 28th, 2006 05:18 pmSo, I'm procrastinating horribly. I've been meaning to pick up a book to write recipes in for about a month - I've been baking enough in the new place that I needed to a better way to keep my recipes than as random, ingredient stained computer print outs. ;) So I bought a book and compiled the ones I've made thus far, plus some others recommended to me by folk, including some scrounged from
yummyrecipes posted by
sapphohestia,
kniedzw, and others.
Anyway, the point of this post is simple: Anyone have any awesome baking recipes that I aughta add to my book? I'm only going to put in recipes I know are good, and I'm judging that either by making them myself or if they come recommended by someone I trust (like all of you). I'm specifically interested in baking, cause, well, I can't cook. I'll find some way (possibly tasty...) to thank those who help me out. Oh, and my own initial contribution to this effort: my mom's wonderful oatmeal scones, as provided at
khaoskitty's tea party and the last Knightridge party. :)
Okay, I really need to stop procrastinating now. ;)
