Part way there
Oct. 19th, 2006 01:55 amWell, I thought I'd type for a few minutes while my paper prints. It's been a tough week so far; I've been working on a big assignment for HEC, I have a paper due tomorrow morning that I only just finished, and generally I'm tired and rather stressed. I still have a ton of costume work to do, but I'm less worried than I was since I've finished the paper. Course, the work assignment yet remains unfinished...sigh...
Over all, the week with my mom went better than I had feared it would. She's been so tired and stressed herself recently, and it was her first trip of any size since her surgery, and so we were both a little wary of what to expect. However, thankfully, she had a great time. It was exhausting to entertain her, but I had fun to. We went to many of the places that were mentioned, in cluding the Lilly (obviously), the art museum, the T.C. Steele house (which is very nice!), Oliver Winery, Wiley house, Lotus festival, and a number of yummy restaurants I'd never been to. We did other stuff too, but I can't think of it right now. She also liked meeting all of you vwho came out to meet her very much, and was sorry that she didn't say bye to folk. ;)
Anyway, the paper is done printing. I'm going to bed, I'm up at 7 tomorrow morning. And then, after class and stuff...the sewing! :) :)
