Something Goes Right (Mostly)

So I woke up this morning after getting almost 12 hours of sleep (1st thing that went right) and checked my e-mail. There I found an e-mail from an address I didn't recognize, entitled "wallet." Calling the number within, I spoke with Rita, who had found my wallet, lying open in the College Mall parking lot.

An hour and change later, I'm back home, wallet in my coat pocket, down the cash that the wallet had contained (about $30...apparently the thief didn't check thoroughly enough to find the card with my account numbers) and I've been spared the two most annoying parts of replacing everything - a(nother) trip to the DMV to get a new license, and a trip to the Social Security office. I'd already canceled all my credit card and bank account numbers, so that annoyance is unavoidable. Still, I think I slightly win life. :) Thank god something has gone right!

And tonight, there is opera!

Edit: Okay, now I'm LMAO. There IS one other thing missing from my wallet: about 5 completely filled Hot Topic 15% off cards. Seriously. And these were in there pretty deep, which means they DID look through my cards and stuff. edit 2 What a fucking idiot. (folks are telling me that not stealing my identity was in fact the smart choice, so I'll refrain from calling the thief dumb...) :)

Movie Tomorrow Night?

I've heard from fallenrose that Pan's Labyrinth has come to Bloomington! It's playing at Kerasotes East, I'm thinking of going tomorrow night, 7:15 showing. I'd be up for 10 PM if that worked better for folks. Anyone interested? (this is not intended, by the by, to undercut other plans, but tomorrow is pretty much the only time I can go in the foreseeable future, since I was planning to go to the Knightridge party, and it's absence has freed my evening up...)

Oh, the Procrastination...

Okay, so I am also working, but now I need to wait until mom gets home, so I'll procrastinate while I wait for her...

Back in December, a song Meme went around, the first line one, and we all seemed to have a fair amount of fun with it. I was frustrated at the time, though, because I only had a very limited playlist to work from. So, at the risk of being lame, I'm doing the meme again, cause it was fun (I'd love to take a try at other peoples play lists again, too).
