Well, I'm beat, so if people want more details, they'll have to bug me tomorrow, or tonight, or whatever you want to call it based on time zones.
Anyway, in short, it went "eh." Like, not bad, but not good. Which I guess is good - on the plus side, I think I'm much more willing to try to meet more people like this, because good or bad it wasn't particularly scary, if that makes any sense. As to this time in particular, we just (in my opinion) didn't really click. And not just because we didn't really have any interests in common (we didn't, though) but deeper than that, like I couldn't quite tell when he was kidding vs. serious, and ditto the other way, and he clearly thought I was weird, and he said some things I thought were weird and...yeah. I think we're both fine, but we're just not on the same wavelength, or even in the same spectrum. That said, if he does contact me again I imagine I'd say yes, he was perfectly friendly, but I don't think that I'd contact him again.
I'm gonna go collapse. My computer is acting funny. Tomorrow I meet one of the gamers, and I have a much better feeling about this - she's said some things in the e-mails we've traded that sound like my kind of people - I'll admit my hopes are pretty high for it. ;)
