Today I went jogging for the first time since I got here. I walked to the river (about 15 min), jogged until I couldn't any more (about 12 min) and then walked back (about 25 min, but I had to retrace a lot of what I had jogged). And you know what? It sucked balls. I can't believe I can only do 12 min now! Still, I think I could have done more, but the sun was beating down and I didn't have any water. So I wanted to just die. Even walking.
So when I got home, I checked the weather. And you know what? The weather report says it feels like it's 95 degrees. That makes me feel a bit better. Running a mile when it's 95 degrees has gotta be tougher than running 1.5 to 2 miles in an air conditioned gym.
And the totally awesome side, I walked past Hanayashiki Yuenchi (amusement park) on the way to the river, and it's apparently Cosplay day, so I saw loads of people in outfits. I recognized Bleach, Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist, and the main character from a show I've been watching here but that I don't know the name of (Kama something or other, or maybe Dama...). I already had to go back that way later today to buy something, so I'm gonna take some pictures - hopefully they'll still be there.
But for now, I'm gonna sit here and think "ugh" for a few more minutes while saturating my body with water. :)
