Zimbabwe Declares Outbreak of Cholera a National Emergency - very scary stuff; enough to remind us how lucky we are, and what shouldn't be taken for granted. I mean, the official inflation rate is 231 million percent. 231,000,000%!
Even National Shop Like a Maniac Day Can't Help Falling Sales in November - okay, that's not actually the headline (what I write never is, for the record...) but the article is about weak sales in November, sho'nuff. Quote of the day: "It looks like Black Friday gave a modest boost so instead of sales being miserable they are just terrible," said Ken Perkins.
A Brief Op-Ed About Prejudice Against Single People - I actually wish it talked about it more; this is something I've been thinking about a lot because, well, I'm single and have been for over 2 1/2 years and I've noticed a lot of things. But that's a rant for some other time. :)
