The Mentalist
Dec. 17th, 2008 11:27 amSo, various of my friends have recently been posting about TV shows, and I wanted to note my favorite show of the new season: The Mentalist. I started watching it because it's on right after NCIS. It's not all that original, and it definitely needs some work done - the ensemble cast is still very much in the background and requires development - but I find the main character absolutely intriguing, and for the most part the writing has been quite good, and all in all I recommend it.
( Short Synopsis (with back story from the first episode - so, sort of spoilers, sort of not) )

ultima_baka thinks I'm a little nuts for liking it so much) - I'd be interested to know why. (But I haven't seen last nights episode yet, so no spoilers!)
