Getting Better and Worse
Mar. 24th, 2009 02:24 pmJust a quick update - since the pressure at work is letting up, I'm starting to feel way better about that. I've sent off three "final" drafts (pending approval by our clients, they're done) and I'm just waiting on a budget from a fourth to update some numbers and finish it. Our fifth proposal seems to be falling through, though it still might come together, in which case things will get lousy again, but no matter what all of them will be done by Friday, so I'm feeling a lot better about stuff.
On the flip side, I'm getting sicker. What started as an occasional nasty cough on Friday is now a sore throat, frequent cough, difficulty breathing, and chest pain - and it's started to be a runny nose. Mom and I agree that if I keep getting worse I'll have to go to a doctor, which stinks. If everything had held off till May, I'd have been able to afford health insurance, but having expenses accumulate now has the exact opposite effect and delays my ability to get it, which is frustrating.
But despite it all, life is getting better, so that's good. I've just been so whiny recently that I thought I'd share that things are reaching the "okay" point. :)
