Just to follow up to yesterday quickly, I discuss briefly how things were looking up in part because a client sent me the peer review forms for the 21st CCLC, and they were pretty good - with an average score that was the highest I'd ever received on a grant, but simply not enough with the cut off set at 93. Well, another client just called me a few minutes ago and shared with me the scores that they received, and they were even higher. That grant was ridiculously close to the cut off, and now it's the new winner of "highest score for a grant I've written" award. I suspect - and hope - that it'll also be the permanent winner of the "highest score for a grant I've written that still didn't get funded" award. Still, all in all, it feels pretty good to know that now two of the three I wrote (Tina was lead writer on the fourth) were very, very strong.

Things are in fact looking up. Heck, March is no longer retrospectively seeming like it sucked quite as much, that has to be a good sign... :)
