That apartment is so cute! lol I also love your little pile of manga in the corner. :p And it's amazing to see an actual store for anime/manga. Even when I was living in the city, you had to go to the bookstore for that, but I suppose they are the creators of it.
Ah, right, you were still working on grants for your mother while there, correct?
And how did it feel living in a new place with limited knowledge of their language? Of course, if we do decide to move there or visit there in a few years, I'd definitely want to learn as much Japanese as I could to get the full effect of it. :p
