Nod to the Fandom

unforthWell, as is probably pretty obvious to anyone who has had any contact with me in the past month, I've become a crazy obsessed Supernatural fangirl. (as in, my biggest obsession since HP...) I'm still watching my way through Season 4 (though I've only got a few episodes left) and I just got to "The Monster at the End of this Book." This has to be the most awesome tribute to fandom I've ever seen in a TV show. I mean, maybe I shouldn't be commenting about it yet, because I'm only 15 minutes in, but I just hit the breaking point with the line,
"She's a comely dental hygienist from Bloomington, Indiana."
GAH~!!!
I mean, really? Did they seriously just say that??? GAAAAH!
This ep? I'm dying. Dying of laughter. Never seen anything quite like it. I mean, they even nod to the fact that the bug episode blows. I'm not actually going to post this until after I'm done watching it, but....gaaaaaah!!!! (okay, somehow I knew it would get weird and less hilarious before the end...it wouldn't be Supernatural if it didn't...)
