At least you have your choices, there's one apartment Patrick and I are looking into that's in the city (I should say town, because it's so flipping small) we called two days ago, but the company hasn't called us back. :\ And like you, we have to find one that's pet friendly since we do have three cats. :p But everything that meets our criteria don't allow pets.
But, I really like that R floor plan and it seems to have a nice view...though I've never been to New York before, so to me, that's a nice view of the area. :p
