Writing and Stuff

I didn't mean that I didn't think it had an effect - that wasn't clear, I realize, looking back over what I wrote! I more meant that Ash feels closer to Val, in particular, because, well, Val did an awesome job of resisting blood. Ash has never done that well. It was impressive, really - was part of why Ash was feeling maybe things should just tsay as they were, Val was doing a better job of being Ash than Ash does...
