Taking the challenge...
Apr. 6th, 2006 12:46 pmIf you were stuck surviving in a nuclear wasteland, what several persons, among your friends, SPECIFICALLY (not by class) would you choose to try to band together with? Why?
This is a tough one for me. See, some of my friends have very useful skills. The bigger problem is, honestly, I'm rather lacking in essential post-apocalyptic survival skills. Thus, what I'd really need to do is find a group who will let me tag along as a "hanger-on," or else I'm totally screwed, since pretty much all I can do is type fast and sew. My brother's wife Kirsten would come in handy, because she knows a lot about nature, can cook really well, is an excellent gardener (agriculture = food = very fucking useful) and very nice and patient (she puts up with my brother!). As an added bonus, she's a licensed masseuse.
I can't think of anyone else I'd want for sure right now, but I'm gonna keep thinking about it - I will edit this post and re-date it when I get out of class.
(I need the break, and by god I've earned it. ;) )
