Two Things I Want Feedback On!
Okay, so there are two things that I'd like to get some input on.
1. For those who don't know, Origins is coming up. (www.originsgames.com, but there page is down right now, grumble). It's on June 29 through July 2nd (Thurs - Sun). It's in Columbus, Ohio, about 3 and a half hours from Bloomington. Now, my brother lives in Columbus within walking distance of the center (it's about a mile walk), and has graciously let folk stay at his place for the con for the past few years. deadmanwade, eviltophat, myself and Kevin Kreiner are going to be staying there. However Ben's place will accomodate about four more.
SO. Anyone want to come to Origins with us? Badges are about 45 bucks, about 10k people go, it's a very nice con with a good dealer's room, and room would be FREE. I don't know how many folk would be interested, but if it's more than four, it'll be the first four folk who definitely say that they can go.
2.dyrecorn and I spent a fair amount of time talking about my intent to reread Eye of the World. At one point, the d20 game got mentioned, and dyrecorn was most pleased to discover that not only am I familiar with it, I've actually run it before. So I wish to know: would there be any interest in my running a Wheel of Time game? I would be willing to, if there was sufficient interest (approximately 4 - 6 people) but I'd want people who were into the world a bit. So yeah, if anyone might be interested, post a comment.
