Changeling Afterglow

Okay, so anyone who has gamed with me a lot knows how I feel about having bad shit happen to my characters - I LOVE it. :) (In a similar vein, all my favorite parts of books are those where the main characters triumph despite getting the shit kicked out of them. ;) ) Very rarely do I get this itch scratched in a game. So let me just say, today was a GREAT Changeling game. Almost everything that could possibly have gone wrong did. I had a really wonderful "and the hits just keep on coming" game, and I'm SOOOOO happy about it, it should be illegal or something to be this excited about getting this fucked with. Highlights include (in order that they occured)
1. What's wrong with Dino? - why's Kathryn's true love in toga??? What's going on?? Ack! Then, before she could even think about that...
2. The divorce - which made her very sad; coming to terms with that, then she has a talk with (not) Dino, and is starting to feel better when,
3. Shae is dead! - Kathryn really cared about Shae, and even though it soon became clear that this situation was much more complicated than it appeared, there were still several moments of intense sadness over this. However, not long afterwards...
4. We've all lost our memories! - and Kathryn thinks that she is married to the tentacled monstrosity, attending the wedding of the fellow in the toga and the lady in the tail coat, who presumably must be her friends, and what's up with this talking sword, and hey! some people can do magic, that's so weird but totally awesome, when...
5. Banality! - Someone always has to say "this can't be happening." This is right around when she regains her first memory, but she feels too lousy to really do much with that. Anyway, she's starting to get her bearings, some more memories come back, some time passes, when
6. All Hail Cihuacoatl! - she touches the sword and regains the memory of being fanatically devoted Cihuacoatl, and starts hunting around for blood sacrifice to give the goddess. She finally gets someone alone to sacrifice them, only to find out that he worshippers the goddess, and so they join forces to go try to sacrifice the fellow in the blue shirt, but before then can go
7. Passion's Mirror - and Kathryn fanatically hates Cihuacoatl as much as she loved her a moment before, so turns on the folks she'd just joined forces with, but before she can finish killing them
8. Memories return! - Kathryn is far to confused by the return of all her memories to do anything. ;) Then...
9. Muses is going to get Powned! - but we have to stay and defend it, of course...
10. Dino has reverted to speaking ancient Greek! - obviously the solution is to use the sword to fix him...
11. What's a Fae? - but instead, she forgets about being a fae at all! However, Pinnochio convinces her to touch the sword again, probably because he's a cute kid, and so now
12. Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary - ahhh, past lives.

And there's more! That I won't say cause it's not really my stuff to say! ooooh, I'm lovin' the angst. And I was married to the Demon Cat. :) eeeeeeeeee.

Anyway, sorry to ramble, but I'm hyped, and thanks so much to everyone, people were totally awesome, it was soooo cool. So yeah. Great session. That's about all, I guess.
