Ah! Procrastination!

I don't know why, but even though the paper is due today, I still don't feel stressed. I need to just write the darned thing (I've done tons of research)

This post is (I sincerely hope!!) the last gasp of my procrastination. ;)

Hope everyone has a great day!

Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] miraeko, what time is our riding lesson? I can't remember if it's two or three...

Edit: All done! I tried to make myself edit the damned thing, but my eyes are starting to cross! Oh no! Anyway, it came in a little over length, which is good, actually, I was really worried it would be too short. I think it turned out alright...anyone who wants to know about the history of preservation bookbinding, well, I'll be posting the paper here in a few minutes. (that's me blog, yo! I've kept it a secret til now, mostly cause I didn't think anyone would really care to listen to me babble about book binding. ;) )

Now, I've got some Changeling stuff to do before the 'lude tonight. ;)

I'm wishing you the best!! Plus I'm looking forward to seeing you tonight. :)

I'm looking forward to the game tonight, definitely. :) It'll be a welcome break before I write another paper tomorrow. (As opposed to my breaks now, every page or so I actually manage to write - I'm on page 4! I can do this! I don't know why I'm having so much trouble making myself write this paper, it's not like it's a difficult paper, or like I'm having any actual trouble composing it, and I did all the stinkin' research already!! Ah well. :) )

Hey, think of it as writer's block. And so have I been there. :) *big hug*

3.

[identity profile] unforth.livejournal.com 2006-12-08 04:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, excellent. I can definitely finish my paper by then. (1,982 words! I'm almost there! Okay, I'm 2/3 of the way there! Which is kind of like almost! ;) )

[identity profile] nekomata.livejournal.com 2006-12-08 04:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Dude, I only wrote 2,250 words. There just wasn't a justifiable reason for me to go over that. *die*

[identity profile] unforth.livejournal.com 2006-12-08 05:07 pm (UTC)(link)
I hit 2500 a couple of minutes ago...I think I might hit 3000...not sure yet...course, that includes my bibliography...and all my notes...so I'm sort of cheating... :)

[identity profile] nekomata.livejournal.com 2006-12-08 05:17 pm (UTC)(link)
I didn't count my bibliography. Cheater! ^_^

[identity profile] unforth.livejournal.com 2006-12-08 06:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Done with the first draft - it's about 3200, without my bibliography, but with my really cheating foot notes. :)

Damn...I need to do the final on Sunday. I think my answers to both questions will be, "I resign." :p

Sweet! Now we get to read your secret blog! Funny, my friend Ab also had this secret grad-school-related blog that he just opened up to the rest of us a few weeks ago.

Paper looks good -- but I just glanced at it briefly. Congrats on finishing in time even with the procrastination! :)

[identity profile] unforth.livejournal.com 2006-12-08 06:55 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm going to be doing the final tomorrow. I actually do think I might resign on the second one... :)

[identity profile] unforth.livejournal.com 2006-12-08 06:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks! And it's not that big a secret, I just don't think anyone would, you know, actually care. ;)

Anyway, two more papers and one more final. And I'm still not actually done with ANY of my classes! Grr!

[identity profile] nekomata.livejournal.com 2006-12-08 07:10 pm (UTC)(link)
I was going to resign on the first one if things weren't turned around within a year.
