As I was driving home this evening, I saw a shooting star right in front of me. I saw about 15 more in the following 10 minutes. Somehow, I feel like this means something, if only I could figure out what.

I vote that it's the Fae, coming back to the world to stop the apocalypse.

Or there were a number of chunks of space rocks that decided to fall through the atmosphere.

Space rocks? bah. There's no such thing as space rocks. I think it was obviously bored gods playing baseball. Indubitably.
