As I was driving home this evening, I saw a shooting star right in front of me. I saw about 15 more in the following 10 minutes. Somehow, I feel like this means something, if only I could figure out what.
Now I'm regretting having pooped myself out with my workout. I had planned to get back up off the sofa to go meteor peeping, but then found myself rather stuck. (;
I wondered if there was a meteor shower this week. The only one I'm really familiar with is the Perseids in August, which I generally catch a little of every year. There's weren't a zillion little ones (or it wasn't dark enough for me to see them) but there were lots of nice bright ones (though I didn't catch any really big obvious fireballs)
