A Short Post for a Sad Reason

I wasn't going to post anything today. Okay, that's a complete lie. I was going to do a long post, but then some fricken Changeling thing came up, and I spent 45 minutes writing an e-mail instead. Grumblegrumble, that's not how I wanted to spend my morning. Anyway, I no longer have time to do a long post. But I wanted to collect some condolences for a ...sort of... family member.

This morning, my uncle's cat Mustard Seed had to be put down. She'd been ill for a while, and had had a leg amputated a few months ago. She's was the sweetest little fluffy black cat I've ever known, and I spent many happy mornings with her curled up on a pillow next to my head. She was 10 or 11, I'm not sure which.

I'm surprisingly sad about this, considering I haven't seen Mustard Seed in about 8 years. It's weird. And my uncle is apparently quite sad, so...ah well, I dunno. :)
