Well, it's a mixed bag - it means I'll either be leaving Bloomington much sooner than expected, as I start job hunting immediately and will move to a position that I find as soon as I find it - or it means that I'll be in Bloomington another year, because if I don't find a job by September 1st, I'll stay here until next summer. The reason for this is simple: I'll reapply to NBSS next spring, and if I get in then (which is much more likely, since I'll have another year of experience under my belt, and I intend to spend a fair amount of time in that year taking workshops and such to get better) then I'll be starting on September 1st of 2008, and I won't take a job where I'll be for less than a year. Makes sense. But if I get a job that starts, say, the beginning of June, I'll be gone by then.
So far I've been astonished by the lack of positions in D.C. ...I'll make a quick post with an overview of the locations of the jobs I'm most interested in soon. :)
I'd like to stay...we'll see how the job hunt goes. I just finished a first draft of my resume...I haven't worked on a resume in such a long time...sigh... :)
