Dentist

Hey, can anyone recommend me a good, relatively inexpensive dentist in Bloomington? I need to get my teeth cleaned, and it ain't in my insurance...

Thanks in advance, folks...

I like Karen Hrisonapalos (something like that) near Third and Jordan. I don't know how their prices compare.

Only dentist in Bloomington I've been to was Dr. Allen on the south side, on Winslow by Aver's.
Don't go there. It's, uh, upper class. It was the only place I could land an appointment before I lost coverage from my mom, after I graduated from college. Nice place. Just... very expensive. It cost me $4-500 AFTER insurance. (They had cable on flat-screen TVs on swivel-things so you could watch your favorite show while having your teeth cleaned.)
Sorry I can't be more helpful than that!

Wow. I checked my money records, and I think basic cleanings at mine would be in the $100-160 range. Sealants $240, fillings $378 (I think I got four?), X-rays cost something. My last visit was $322 but that was after a year, with full X-rays and I think a sonic toothbrush I bought from them as well.

The Gentle Dentist on 2nd is o.k. for basic things, and pretty inexpensive. I go to Byron Rutledge by college mall, he's not the best but he's what I can afford. If you can find one of those College Coupons books there should be a coupon for him in there.

I'm stupid :P

Ryan and I see Dr. Moore on 17th between College and Dunn. He is reasonably priced and very good. I will be sad when Ryan and I no longer have insurance for him.

Dr. Arnold in that strip mall at 10th and the Bypass is pretty cool. No idea what he charges, coz i have insurance now (yay!1) but i liked him a lot, a qualitiy i find very important in a dentist.

Dona and Lisa Baker have been my dentists since I had dentists-- they're up here on far east 3rd. They're great dentists, but i'm not quite sure about the price, though I rmemeber the one time I had to pay it was very reasonable. They actually talked me out of something more expensive than I needed.

Er, Don, not Dona
