Avast! I forgot to mention that I've been uploading and labeling my pictures, me hearties. I'm not caught up yet, but I'm getting there, so none of you scurvy dogs better give me a hard time, or I'll make you walk the plank. The whole collection is at Flickr. (this is a "classic" shot, everyone goes to this temple where Tokyo Tower looms in the background and takes their picture with both in it. And well I didn't have anyone to take my picture, but I managed to get both the statue and the Tower in my shot, after a fashion. ;) )

Just a few highlights, but there are loads of other pics up, if anyone is really bored. Course, the most recent batch aren't labeled at all yet, because I'm still labeling all the older pics (like, from Christmas. ;) )

What I mean to say, matey, is that I can talk like a pirate in Japanese! Before I read One Piece it would have been tough, but now its easy.

I will become king of the pirates!

(One Piece be a manga series about the seafarin of a lad who wants to be king of the pirates, and I be readin' 6 1/2 volumes in the works native tongue.)

I don't fancy meself as bein' in the know about no Neil Gaiman types. Where be he in me vicinity? If he be in Tokyo, then I will probably sail out and loot, pillage and slaughter his fine ships!

As nifty as it would be, I think I should wait until sometime he is touring the states. I'm not a particularly big Gaiman fan, and he's only here for two days, so whatever fan-available events he is doing are probably going to be in the "omg fucking crazy busy" range. :) I figure I'll be living in Boston for two years - most important people on tour type things will stop there. :)
