Brief Notes

unforthFirst, I arrived safe and sound, and was delighted to find it's not as hot here. I'll write more about doin' stuff when I've done more, I've only been here 24 hours.
Second, I think I misjudged why I felt like garbage on Saturday, since I now have a sinus infection which is messing with my balance and has my feeling stuffed up.
Third, and the actual reason I'm posting this, because I'm damn proud, last night my novel crossed 100,000 words. OMG!! It's winding it's way slowly but surely towards some sort of conclusion - heck, I even think I'm starting to know what that conclusion is. :) I haven't written every day I've been away, but I've written on most, and I made up for the two days I missed with interest. :) I'd stop, but at this point I'm afraid to, I think. I can't stop now!!! :)
Anyway, I'd better go, this is a public terminal and I'm being charged per half hour and my first half hour is almost up. ;)

Date: 2007-10-13 05:58 am (UTC)Ah, okay. This is (in my opinion) the absolute best reason to write more slowly -- because, of course, it's the reason I write more slowly. You had managed to give me the impression, though, that you know the next several bits well enough that it might be the right time to speed up. If not, then carry on. ^_^
