Last Call!

Tomorrow and on Sunday, I'm going to try to sneak in a little bit of shopping time while doing the other stuff I need to do - a couple of stops I need to make are on the way to places I HAVE to go, so it works out.

A few of you asked me for stuff, and I've had dismal luck finding most of it, but I'm willing to give it one last stab if I have the time so...

Last Call! Anime and manga stuff, random Japanese-y tourist stuff (fans, geta, manekineko's, paresols, etc.), food items that will keep (need to keep 1 - 2 days for Bloomington folks; a week and a half+ for NYers), or any thing else you might want me to bring back. Name it, and I'll at least make an attempt - if I can find the time. Try to be specific. :)

If you ask for something heavy, I won't get it, and I'll kill you. :)

but if you find either a Vivi pin or patch on your travel that would be awesome plus it's not that heavy so i don't have to worry about death. oh, and if you come across an awesome thingy for my phone that would work too as the monkey one you got me a few years back is trying to jump ship everytime i take my cell phone out of my purse. i think i've had to relocate 3 times this past week. not fun.

I get the feeling that you are up to something...but no, even with all the photos I take, I don't think I have any scone pictures. This is the closest - one of the baskets does, in fact, contain scones I made.

You know I have looked for Captain Harlock stuff in every single anime store I've gone to without finding anything?? AAAA! Anyway, I can get you something eva-related easily; they sell that sort of thing at a store I already wanted to go to. :)

Harlock stuff is very hard to find, sadly. I'd expect there'd be general Leiji Matsumoto stuff around, though - he's always been a popular illustrator.

If so, her name is Maetel. I like most of the characters from the Leiji-verse, so something with her or Emeraldas on it would be cool also.

I've only ever seen "Galaxy Express 999" - I really liked it, but it was years ago so I'd forgotten her name, but that's definitely who I meant - I wish I'd known those would do; I've seen some stuff with both her and Emeraldas, but it was in a place I won't have time to go to again. :(
