Two small updates

Well, my iPod came back from Apple. It's still busted. They said they couldn't fix it. Sure enough, I have a fancy, expensive paper weight. I'll try to save up to get a new one, I guess.

In other news, after a lot of internal debate, I voted for Obama. I'm surprised by the extent to which I'm coming to care about this election. Anyway, it'll be interesting to see the results come in.

Wow! They only gave you a paper weight? Geez, I'm kind of surprised that they didn't give you a refund or anything. :|

When I broke my ankle at the theme park, Knott's Berry Farm (southern California) I had chipped the bone, they sent me four free tickets to the park and apologized for it happening. I joked with my family that they sent me those tickets so I could break my ankle again there. :p

I mean, some places don't realize that even though it takes away money (but hey, they still lose money by giving away free tickets or a simple paper weight) it's actually better to help people instead of giving them what they don't need. *shakes head*
