Go Mets!

It's great when the same thing can make a day awesome more than once!
This photo and the anecdote that went with it (written below the photo) made my day awesome when it happened, and then the comment that was left on it by another Flickr user just made today awesome. Science!

Go Mets! :)

Ok, that really cracked me up. I'm not a baseball fan, but it is still pretty funny. :)

Do you like any other sports? Really, fandom isn't that different no matter what you are a fan off, I've found...The loathing of a Mets fan for a Yankee fan isn't really any different. It can be over come (I dated a Yankee fan for 5 years!) but it will also be a sensitive subject. (we fought about it! :) )

No, not really into sports. I can appreciate the teamwork aspect in some of them but I find them incredibly boring to watch. Maybe some sports are better in person than on TV? It is actually more entertaining for me to hear the fans talk about games, players, etc. because they get so excited.

They are DEFINITELY more fun in person, and more fun when you're watching with other people who are also in to it. :) I'm actually not that big a fan - I can't quote facts or name players - but I'm long term and dedicated. I've always been a Mets fan, a Mets fan, and nothing but a Mets fan, through bad times and worse times. I made a conscious decision that this year I'd pay more attention, though. :) I've already watched one game, putting me ahead of the last few years, and I plan to watch a bunch more once the actual season starts in April.

Babe, you and me, this year, I get access to Mets tickets from office, again (last year, they were 10 rows behind the visiting dugout) and we watch lots of games :)

Being wannabe wall street asskicker does have perks ;)

You GET ACCESS TO METS TICKETS? OMG, you've made my day! A second time! And here I was gonna, you know, buy tickets with money!! Sweet!!

The access can be somewhat sporadic (as in, I'll be calling you at 5 to tell you we're seeing a 7:10 start :P), but I don't even need to pull any strings to get them - all I gotta do is ask and see if they're floating around :). I'm not gettin like Mets/Yanks tix or anything though...I don't kick that much ass yet :P

That's okay, I'm gonna be out of town for the Subway series this year. Is it pathetic that I've already checked that? :)
