Some Amsterdam Pictures

I'm still working on it, but I thought I might as well post a few now that I've got abut a third of them labeled. :)

Sets that are labeled: Kerks (Churches)
Museumsplein (A square where the two major art museums, Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, are located)
Hortus Botanicus (A small botanical garden)

Recommendations - cause I don't blame any of you for not wanting to look at all of them ;)
Statue of Anne Frank
Westerkerk (West Church)
Nieuwe Kerk (New Church, which is not at all new, in that it was rebuilt in 1645)
Oude Kerk (Old Church, the oldest structure in Amsterdam, completed 1306)
Rijksmuseum
If you like flower pictures, most of the ones in the Hortus Botanicus set turned out pretty good - I've gotten a lot of practice at flower shots, and think I'm decent at them at this point. :)

Other than that, I'll get more labeled tonight.

Also, I finished Midnight Never Come last night - swan_tower did good, if you're not already reading it, you should go do so! :) Makes me miss Changeling so much, though....

Oh, lovely! I went through all the sets, not just the highlights. I think I have an idea of what Amsterdam is like now, which I never had before. Very cool. I hope the rest of your vacation is amazing, and can't wait to hear more! ♥

wow...the flower shots are lookin mighty nice...which makes sense, seeing as you like to takes lots and lots and lots of pix of them ;)

any chance I can get you to take a couple of snaps of the sexier parts of The City in London? I would <3 that if it's possible at all. I wanna say the sexier the pic, the likelier (more likely? man I'm tired...) it is that I'll blow it up and hang it up on my wall $

Given what I know you think of as sexy in architecture and such, I'm not actually sure I'll be able to do that - I prefer to hit historical sections of the city. However, I'll keep my eyes open and see if I can't get something that'll fit your definition of "sexy." :)

really? you think it's phallic looking? I think it's the complete opposite of phallic looking myself. I love the curves of it...they look like the curves of a beautiful woman, and you know how I feel about the full glass $

I don't think the buildings I've seen in Dubai look phallic, just very specifically that one you sent me the link to in London. And yes, I do. ;) But as I said, I'll keep my eyes open, and try to take a shot you'll like. ;)
