Getting where? I'm not sure I follow what you mean by that, and I don't think Iris has anything to do with that statement

The country is getting closer to accepting that things like gender aren't all that black and white, and it's a victory for those who have been really struggling to get things like that acknowledged, even as we fight major battles over whether two people in love can get a civil union if they are the same gender.

Isis has a great deal to do with this statement.
