The Federal Take Over of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac scares me, but I'm not sure why, and I don't know enough about economics and such to know if it should. Anyone know more that can tell me if I should be worried?

We've talked about this already, so you know what this wall street economist thinks. Be wary, don't buy anything right now (obviously), and accept that your taxes will go up.

To put things into perspective though, the Asian markets ate it up, up 4% a/o 1:30est. I wouldn't be surprised if US advanced markets don't do the same.
