The Weekend

Hopefully, I'll have the time to do the riddles research tonight - as far as I know, I will, but, well, unexpected things are expected.
Had a good weekend over all. Saturday I did a bunch of work, not terribly interesting. Yesterday, hung out with Eric, Kendra, Carrie and Jason. Initially (sans Carrie and Jason) the idea was to do some work for the Hogwarts game, but in truth very little of that got done. It was fun, though, anyway. After the "plotting" we got some dinner, went to see Narnia, and then got shakes at Steak and Shake.
Narnia was pretty good. I don't think it was better than LoTR, though it's worth noting that I was never a big Narnia fan - I read the book once when I was in 7th grade, never read it again, and don't remember anything about it, other than there is, you know, a lion and a wardrobe in it - no, I didn't even remember the witch, though of course I knew she existed. Still, I thought it was fairly spiffy and quite enjoyable, and that two-sword wielding centaurs are totally, totally hot. I mean, I don't have a thing for horses but...yeah...So yeah, good movie - I think it'll be an excellent fantasy flick for my kids, in particular.
Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Date: 2005-12-12 06:10 pm (UTC)Yeah, as a planning session last night was less than productive- in some ways it's hard to plot until after next session, so Sara and I can fill you guys in on all the plots that are currently in motion.
Tumnus is, and remains, the cutest thing ever. Ever.
