1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
I moved from New York to Indiana. I'd never moved before, per se.
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't make resolutions. I don't need it to be New Year's for me to decide to do something.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My brother's best friend's wife had a baby...so did my step brother's wife...but I'm not actually close to either of the women.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Thankfully, no.
5. What countries did you visit?
None. I've driven through a lot of states, though. ;)
6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
Time to play more video games. Yes, it's frivolous, but I want it anyway.
7. What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
There are a few...Dec. 6th. Can't say why (there is a reason though ;)). June 1st. I moved to Bloomington. June 10th. It was Jason's birthday, and our first Changeling game. February 15th. I started my diet. November 25th. My brother got married. There's probably more, too, it's been a busy year. :)
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Graduated from college last Dec. Got in graduate school.
9. What was your biggest failure?
It's been a pretty good year really.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing serious.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Hmm...well, I bought these really cute ornaments that are glass balls painted like snow men...in truth, I can't think of anything...well, we got an awesome TV...I didn't think of it cause I bought it for Jason for his birthday.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Strange question...but I'd say my best friend, Jen. She's put up with a lot this year. :)
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Andy Fisher. Jerk.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Bills, but there was still enough left over.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
My diet.
16. What song will always remind you of 2005?
Strnage question again..."My Milkshake Brings All The Boys to the Yard" cause of all the jokes we made about how fricken stupid it was.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Happier. MUCH happier. I was a stressed mess who was falling apart at the seams cause of my job + school + grad school applications this time last year.
ii. thinner or fatter? Thinner! Yah diet!
iii. richer or poorer? Richer. My job is much better now. :)
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Relaxed and done something other than think about work work or school work.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Complaining.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
Christmas Eve: My dad. Christmas day: Jay's family. The 26th: My family. Much of the actual day will be spent driving to my grandfather's in New Hampshire.
22. Did you fall in love in 2005?
I was already in love, and I'm still in love.
23. How many one-night stands?
Never had a one night stand.
24. What was your favorite TV program?
CSI. CSI is awesome. Robot Chicken and Venture Bros both kick ass, too, though.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Sort of...decided to give up on someone since then. (see: Person I was disappointed in. ;) )
26. What was the best book you read?
Hm....tough one, I did a lot of reading this year...not sure really, I love books.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Interpol - Evil. God, god, god I love that song. And I found it entirely by accident.
28. What did you want and get?
Into a good graduate school, and friends when I got there.
29. What did you want and not get?
Really, I've had a very good year. I didn't get into Madison...
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Haven't seen that many new ones this year...probably Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Batman Begins was awesome too. Common feature? Gary Oldman. :)
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I haven't had my 2005 birthday yet. :) My 2004 was spent with friends, eating yummy food, celebrating birthday and christmas and other peoples birthdays and college graduation and other good stuff too.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Really, it's been a good year. I keep saying that. :) Immeasureably more satisfying? I like world peace, world peace is good.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
"Hey, I have a waist!"
34. What kept you sane?
Jason.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Gary Oldman. (You know you are getting older when the age of the men you like goes up and up...;) )
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Down with Censorship! Up with Freespeech!
37. Who did you miss?
My friends in Binghamton.
38. Who was the best new person you met?
Too tough to answer, I've met far too many new people.

Sometimes, you just have to go for it. And be yourself!
