People don't recognize their own bias (in this case, race in the election) - this was actually way interesting - give it a try for yourself at and maybe learn a bit more about yourself than you knew. Apparently, according to my results, subconsciously I slightly prefer black people to white people and I have no preference between McCain and Obama. Consciously, of course, is a different matter completely. :)

Edit: In related news, [livejournal.com profile] skygawker posted an article on a topic that I've been looking for solid info on - Whether or not the 2004 election was stolen - I haven't had time to read the whole thing yet, what I did read definitely falls into the Op-Ed category of things, but still it looks quite interesting.

Oh, and I just took another and wanted to share -- I have little to no preference for either young or old people. Wow, good for me, I'm glad to have scored with no implicit bias on one of them. :) Hey, I like old people. I respect them. And I like young people too. We are energetic.
