Moving Day

Well, today's the day. I got the project done yesterday (I ended up working just over 11 hours yesterday, and can't say I'm all that happy with how I did) but wasn't able to get some of the final moving things done - in particular, I still haven't done the requisite exploring in my new neighborhood to know where to walk the dog. I'll just have to figure it out later, which is exactly what I was hoping to avoid.

Supposedly, I will have internet when I move, but in truth I have so little faith in Time Warner that I find the chances very low that I will actually have internet. However, I'll be able to check my e-mail (unforth@yahoo.com) via Blackberry. I'll have internet access again for certain on the 9th when I go to DC for a conference - I'll be in DC from the 9th to the 11th, and then in Texas from the 12th to the 19th. Also, everyone should note that I will no longer be reachable at 646-684-3434 - that phone number, for some reason, isn't portable. It goes offline today, and I won't have a new one until 12/20. On the other hand, my new apartment has cell phone reception, so I will, for a change, be reachable on that - same number as before - (917) 374 8297.

Thanks! And nope - I've never had any problems due to not f-locking, and it doesn't really worry me. :) Thanks for the heads up, though.

i was having angst over the possibility of there being an 'e' at the end. its an honest mistake! really!
