I should be working...
Jan. 11th, 2006 01:30 pmI really need to start, you know, doing my job, but why do that when I can procrastinate just a little bit longer?
Went over to
dyrecorn and
miraeko's last night. Watched a very strange movie, Secretary, which I rather enjoyed all things considered. I've been trying to figure out how to classify it, but have been unable to think of any standard category it fits in...I think my brain has added it to my "romance" category, but anyone who has seen it might think I'm a weirdo for that. :)
Have spent the morning working and procastinating in equal parts. I'm excited about my casting for the Apocolypse game, but I needs to do me some research so I looked up some library call numbers for books I'll grab tonight, and I started trying to hunt down a pattern for an amazing formal Kimono. (none of the commonly available patterns are nice enough in my opinion) ...this is proving more difficult than expected, though. Everyone wants to sell you Yukata's, while I want a "furisode" kimono, the most formal that can be worn by an unmarried woman, often worn to weddings. These are made with nicer fabric, and are cut differently too. :) I have to find the pattern fast, though, so here's hoping. :) (I want one that looks rather like this picture)
Have a nice day, everyone!
