Should be working (as usual)
Jan. 14th, 2006 10:13 amJust thought I'd put up a brief update on my life since I haven't the last little while.
Life is good. I'm unsettlingly excited about making my junihitoe for the Parliament game, having bought about 45 yards of fabric for it yesterday (price: $150. Thanks again to everyone who helped me out by taking coupons, I couldn't have done it without you). I also finished my costume for the Concordia game, or at least mostly finished it (finished it enough that if I don't have time to do more, it'll still be okay, which is finished enough), and started
deadmanwade for the Concordia game, also.
I find myself in a position I haven't been in for some years, though, which is this: there are more demands on my time than there is time. I love spending time hanging out with my friends and I am loathe to turn down any reasonable invitation. At the same time, I have school work and work work that I need to do. I'm loving the hanging out with all youse guys so much that I'm not saying "no" even though I really aughta be, and it's scaring me a little, cause if I don't get a handle on it, I'll fall behind in something, and that would be most bad and sucky.
That's my rant for the day. :) Today there is gaming to be done and tomorrow there is much Hogwarts. Even if Marcus is in fact a jerk. :) Somehow, despite only about 4 hours of sleep, I'm pretty cheerful. Hopefully that will last. At least it's sunny out, I love sunny weather. :)
