Just thought I'd put up a brief update on my life since I haven't the last little while.

Life is good. I'm unsettlingly excited about making my junihitoe for the Parliament game, having bought about 45 yards of fabric for it yesterday (price: $150. Thanks again to everyone who helped me out by taking coupons, I couldn't have done it without you). I also finished my costume for the Concordia game, or at least mostly finished it (finished it enough that if I don't have time to do more, it'll still be okay, which is finished enough), and started [livejournal.com profile] deadmanwade for the Concordia game, also.

I find myself in a position I haven't been in for some years, though, which is this: there are more demands on my time than there is time. I love spending time hanging out with my friends and I am loathe to turn down any reasonable invitation. At the same time, I have school work and work work that I need to do. I'm loving the hanging out with all youse guys so much that I'm not saying "no" even though I really aughta be, and it's scaring me a little, cause if I don't get a handle on it, I'll fall behind in something, and that would be most bad and sucky.

That's my rant for the day. :) Today there is gaming to be done and tomorrow there is much Hogwarts. Even if Marcus is in fact a jerk. :) Somehow, despite only about 4 hours of sleep, I'm pretty cheerful. Hopefully that will last. At least it's sunny out, I love sunny weather. :)

I find that if you forfeit sleep, you can use all those hours that you would otherwise have wasted on unconsciousness to do homework. If you finish your homework, you can always write Changeling fiction. Of course, I'm a bad student; I never start a paper until midnight the evening before it's due. ;)

Glad to hear that life is treating you well with your gaming!...and I completely empathize about the time siphoning. Jeremy and I like to quote Bilbo Baggins when we feel that way: "...like butter spread over too much bread."

Good luck with everything, and let me know if there is anything I can do! See you this afternoon...
