Crap, Work!
Jan. 16th, 2006 02:17 pmI'm just writing a brief post to say that the Hogwarts Game was completely spiffy yesterday. As usual, I managed to avoid getting involved in most of the metaplot (not on purpose!) which I never mind in that game, cause there are always people to interact with, but it was especially spiffy yesterday cause dear Marcus managed to avoid getting roped in as well, so
drake_rocket and I managed to spend a high percentage of the gaming session wallowing in the immense cuteness of teenage Victorian courting. Still managed to get in a bit of plot too - basically, spent the entire game building up to "the kiss" (which almost no one saw! :) ) and then went to defend the school, and got turned into a werewolf. I really, really hope we can do a table top game to tie up the end of stuff for those of us who stayed "behind," because while it's all well and nice to say that it all works out, I know I for one feel there is enough potential for spiffy roleplay that I'd just as soon not gloss over it if it can be helped. :) Also, I like the game to much. :) And I just got deja vu really bad while typing that last bit. How strange.
Divination teacher: "Hmm...holding the portal open will result in my death."
Phineas Nigellus (currently deceased): "Well, it happens to the best of us."
(I can feel in my bones that it's not as funny out of context, but it was so fricken funny in context that dammit I'm gonna quote it anyway...we'll miss ya lots, Phineas...one of my favorite NPC's ever...)
