Scary Politics Stuff
Oct. 7th, 2008 11:35 amApparently, some members of Congress were told that there was a chance Martial Law would be declared if the Bailout wasn't passed. We only have this dude's word for it, though.
Meanwhile, yesterday markets plummeted but they recuperated a lot in the last hour (down more than 700, but ended down less than 400. Today they're holding pretty steady with thus far relatively small losses (I've seen the ticker go between -10 points and minus -70...). Fingers crossed!
Finally, there's a debate tonight! 9 PM! Many stations! Don't miss it! (this is more to remind myself than anyone else, I'm worried I'll forget!)
