Obama to Order Review of Automobile Emissions Standards - "The auto companies had advocated a denial, saying a waiver would require them to produce two sets of vehicles, one to meet the strict California standard and another that could be sold in the remaining states." Of course, that's the most logical answer, not just make all cars that meet higher standards, that'd be stupid!

why bother bailing out the automakers if you're just going to kill them with standards like these? seriously?

and don't get me started on the banks again...talk about a slippery slope.
