Why does it only go back to 1980??

Actually, that's a matter of principal. I refuse to see that movie. It's a hold over from when I was 16 and stupid and therefore hated all things popular, but I stand by it out of twisted sense of respect for the teenager I once was. ;)

LOL! I can understand that, a part of me is also like that, but the Titanic is history! Well, probably not huge history, but tis still history. :p

My guess is that it's because 1980 was a decade and a half before the author of the meme was born, and therefore ancient and irrelevant history. (;

Yeah, that seems likely...I've seen some of the ones from the 60s, 50s, 40s, 30s...

I've seen a stage production of Amadeus, and I loved it, which is why I haven't seen the movie - I want to preserve that memory. That said, I'd kinda like to watch it anyway. ;)

And I know, I know, not seeing ET is pathetic...we will remedy it, I hope...but I hope we can go see Coraline, first! :)
