Trip to the Midwest

Just wanted to fill the LJ and FB world in on a trip I'm taking next week.

I'm leaving next Friday morning (10/16).
10/16 - 10/17 - Dad's in NJ
10/17 - 10/19 - B and K's in Columbus, OH
10/19 - 10/23 - Bloomington (I'll be staying with moonartemis76)
10/23 - 10/25 - Chicago (I'll be staying at a hotel, but I'm ostensibly going to visit buzzermccain)
10/26 - driving home

If anyone wants to get together, drop me a comment so I can start figuring out schedule and such! :)

Ah, not far enough into the midwest for us! too bad. :( We got your last postcard yesterday and Gwydion was inspired to start a scrapbook. Thanks! Enjoy your trip.

Actually, I had a crazy thought about something related to this, and now I can actually check if it's feasible - I'll be in College Station, TX for a week in December, cause my uncle and grandfather live there, and I just checked - it's only an 8 hour drive to Tulsa (maybe some wouldn't write only on this statement, but I've done enough long drives that 8 doesn't seem like much at all to me...) - maybe we could figure something out related to that? Maybe some kind of meet half way thing?

Yay, scrapbooks! I kept a few scrap books as a kid, they're a great way to learn about different places...

Thanks! I'm afraid that DC isn't really an option on this trip, but I'm hoping to get down there soonish - since you won't be there when I'm there for the conference, we definitely need to figure out something before the end of the year!
