New Address

I'll post a more general update soonish, but right now I'm trying to get stuff done, so I'll keep this brief and just post my new addy, which is:

5700 Arlington Ave., Apt. 3N
Bronx, New York 10471

I'm pleased to note that the post office has confirmed my conviction that my address is in the Bronx, and not Riverdale. I got the keys at the closing yesterday, and brought in the first batch of stuff (all purchased from BB&B) last night. Today I've got a person from an extermination company coming to confirm that there are currently no bed bugs in and amongst my belongings; once I know that I'll start moving, pretty much immediately, even though it's raining. I hate waiting and am rather itching to just get over there. :)

I love the moment when you get the key. It's such a huge deal, but it's also strange: I remember looking down at the tiny little key, and thinking "all that work, paperwork, money, etc etc., jsut to get this tiny little key?"

So much stuff is represented by that tiny little physical object.
